General notes
At any time on Blogger, you can click on
at the top of the page. If you are not registered yet, this will start you on the registration sequence. If you are registered, it will take you to your Dashboard, where you can edit your profile, start a new blog, make a new posting, or edit one of your existing postings.Sometimes Blogger will bring up a blank screen saying that access is forbidden. Just try again. You may need to back up in your browser, to see the link you clicked before. Click it again.
At any time, registered or not, you can go directly to any blog, if you have its URL. The cyberjournal blogs can be reached by clicking on one of the icons below. When you get there, add it to your Favorites, to make future visits more convenient.

How to register

If that brings up a page like the one to the right, you were previously registered. On that page are buttons to View or Edit your profile, or to create a new blog.
If you are really a new user, you should instead see the page on the right.

That should bring you to a form like the one to the right. Fill it in and click 
You may have to iterate a few times because of problems like those to the right. You’ll need to correct the errors, fill in the passwords again, and again click
When you get here, you’re registered! You do not need to create a new blog unless you want to. You can either go directly to one of our blogs (above), or you can fill in your blogspot profile first (recommended)--See below.
How to edit your profile

If you are registered, that should take you to the page on the right. Click on Edit Profile.
That should bring you to the form on the right. You can fill in as much or as little as you like, and you can either Share your profile (making it visible to other bloggers), or keep it private. When you are done, don’t forget to click:
You can always come back again later to update your profile. You can now go directly to one of our blogs (above).
How to comment on postings
At the bottom of a posting or comment, you will see one of the images on the right. If you want to leave a comment, click on N comments or Post a Comment, whichever is present.
That should open a pop-up window like the one on the right. Scroll to the bottom.

You'll see the form on the right. Fill in your comment, and click Preview, to verify that your comment looks OK. Then click Login and Publish to save the comment on the blog.

How to make live links
If you want to link to ‘Nice Article’, which is found at http://nicesite.com, insert the text to the right into your posting.

The link will be live in your posting, and will appear as on the right. Both the title and the URL are visible, which is useful if someone copies your posting into an email message.

How to include pictures
If you want to insert the image located at http://nicesite.com/mypict.jpg in your posting, insert the text to the right at that position.
